Rishi (Mahesh Babu), who saw the failures of his father, wants to develop fast in his life. He achieves things fast, as he wants. He recalls his college days after some incidents that happen in his life dramatically.
Rishi rethinks about some incident about his college friend Ravi (AllariNaresh), who did something for him. Also, Rishi rethinks about a girl (Pooja Hegde) who loves him very much.
After some incidents, he commits to do agriculture, even though he is in the position of CEO for a reputed organization. Why did Rishi change as a farmer from the CEO? What did he do for his friend, finally? What is the actual reason behind Ravi? How Rishi became Maharshi for that reason? To know about these reasons, you should see the film only.
Artistes’ Performances:
Mahesh Babu appeared in a full-length character as Rishi after Srimantudu, Bharat AnuNenu. He lived in a role as a college student, as a CEO, as a youngster fighting for a farmer, for a friend, as a lover, as a son pursuing his father’s aspirations, with such an emotional touch. Pooja Hegde made the screen colorful with her glamour in the first half. Her chemistry worked out well with Mahesh.
AllariNaresh’s character is the most impressive among the other characters in the film. He lived in character as a young man from a rural area. Every spectator will be reminded of the character who sacrificed his life for a friend.
Technicalities:
Hats off to Director VamsiPaidipalli to come with a unique story with a superstar with different shades. The way in which the story is written for the film is commendable as the college episodes are to the liking of the youth, the emotional scenes between father and friends are to impress the family audience and to make the society think about the problems of the farmers.
KU Mohan’s Cinematography deserves a special mention in the movie. The US episodes are very classy filmed. The rural atmosphere in the second half was nicely presented on the screen.
When it comes to action scenes, Mohanan further showcased Ram Laxman’s talent. Fights are crazy. Devi Sri Prasad’s background music has become a plus for the film. It is clear on-screen that the producers did not compromise to tell the story strongly and to create the environment it needed.
